A Gift For You

If you live in Murfreesboro or anywhere else in Rutherford County, we got you a gift.  Don’t worry, it is OK if you did not get us anything.  If you use our gift, that will be the only gift we need because our gift will keep you out of jail, prevent injuries and save lives.  It is a gift that will help you start the New Year safely and responsibly.  And even though it is still days before Christmas, you can open your gift now by clicking to Read More.

Surprise, Murfreesboro and Rutherford County, we are giving you a safe ride home on New Year’s Eve!  The Law Offices of John Day, P.C. has been so grateful and proud to be a part of the wonderful Murfreesboro and Rutherford County community since we opened our office there 2 1/2 years ago, and we wanted to say thank you by offering a safe ride home to help cut down on drunk driving and drunk driving accidents in our community.

The National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism reports that your odds of dying in an alcohol-related crash doubles or triples, depending upon certain factors, during the holidays.  Of course, New Year’s Eve is a holiday typically marked by alcohol consumption.  Perhaps it is not surprising that, according to Mothers Against Drunk Driving, 48 percent of all highway deaths on New Year’s Eve are attributable to alcohol.  Against this backdrop, we decided to take action.

So here is how it works:

  1. Go to our website, johndaylegal.com/be-smart-be-safe and fill out the form.
  2. You will get a code to use with Uber.
  3. On New Year’s Eve, use the code and we will pay for your ride home up to $25.00.

Of course, being lawyers, there is some fine print.

  1. You must be 21 years old.
  2. Your ride must start and end in Rutherford County.
  3. Rides are provided from 10:00 p.m. until 2:00 a.m.
  4. If the fare is in excess of $25.00, you must pay the difference.
  5. Tip is not included.
  6. Rides are on a first-come, first-serve basis and will be limited to the first $5,000.00.

We want to reduce the number of buzzed, tipsy and drunk drivers on the road this New Year’s Eve, so spread the word.  Tell you friends.  Share on Facebook, Twitter and other social media.  And most importantly Rutherford County, if you have imbibed too much to drive this New Year’s Eve, get a safe ride home on us.  The life you save could be your own.

At The Law Offices of John Day, P.C., we are always here to help those who have been injured in car accidents caused by drunk drivers or by a perfectly sober driver who was just not following the law.  We handle all accident cases on a contingency basis which means we only get paid if we recover money for you.  If you need help following a car accident, call our award-winning attorneys for a free consultation.  Call 615-742-4880 (Nashville office) or 615-867-9900 (Murfeesboro office) or 866-812-8787 (toll-free)
